What the app does

BoulderKing is a multiplayer game for indoor bouldering gyms. You create an account, claim routes as territory, and compete for King of the gym (and later city / country / world) titles.

Data we collect

• Email and password (account, via Amazon Cognito).
• Display name and faction colour you choose.
• Sends, route claims, clan membership, and activity events needed to run the game.
• Technical logs required to operate the API (AWS Amplify / AppSync).

We do not use advertising identifiers, do not sell data, and do not run third-party ad SDKs.

Why we need an account

Territory ownership is shared with other climbers. A signed-in identity is required so a claim can be yours and so you can delete that identity later.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account in Settings. That removes the Cognito user and your profile. Game events that already happened may remain in anonymised form (e.g. “someone claimed a route”).

Children

BoulderKing is not directed at children under 13.
